In Israel, both the buyer and seller pay a fee of 2% , plus a 15.5% Value Added Tax. This fee is paid upon the signing of the contract. With certain exclusive properties under construction, only the developers pay a 1% fee. For rentals, both sides pay a fee of one months' rent, plus a 15.5% Value Added Tax. For less than six months, the fee is 10%.
